UPDATE 10-23-25

Today's eBay Winter 2025 Seller Check In kicked off with an announcement that US General Manager Dawn Block will be moving on to a Customer Experience Support role within the company, passing the torch to newly named VP GM of North America Ron Jaiven.

eBay once again has new leadership for US marketplace as General Manager Dawn Block passes torch to newly named VP GM North America Ron Jaiven.

Dawn also reviewed announcements from eBay Open like Automatic Positive Feedback and Item Not Received seller protections.

Ron introduced himself to sellers and highlighted the company's latest "eBay Stories" marketing campaigns.

Senior Director Shipping, Stuart Reichenbach discussed holiday shipping, announcing that eBay sellers will see discounts below the general market increase for USPS and UPS peak season surcharges - though he didn't give specifics about what those discounts will be.

Senior Manager Strategic Accounts Dallen McKee hosted the Advertising segment, which was almost exclusively focused on pushing Promoted Stores ads, but in all of the information he offered about Promoted Stores, he forgot to mention the change going into effect next week that will move these ad campaigns to a monthly budget pacing.

eBay is making changes to Promoted Stores cost per click ad campaign management, moving from a daily to monthly time frame for budget averaging.

Senior Product Manager Jaskiran Makkar introduced the Listing Quality Report - again.

eBay Finally Rolls Out Listing Quality Report To All Sellers
After 5 year wait, eBay is finally rolling out Listing Quality Report to all sellers, providing listing insights & optimization tips.

If you're not familiar, the Listing Quality Report, was introduced by previous VP Seller Experience Harry Temkin in December 2020, but the initial product was a mess of mismatched and/or erroneous data, resulting in the report being pulled from production, reworked and launched for a second time in mid-2021.

But the problems persisted and in 2023, eBay briefly said they were going to discontinue the Listing Quality Report before backtracking - but as errors continued through 2024, eBay removed access from some sellers who had previously had the report while leaving others who never had access in the dark about whether it would eventually roll out to their accounts too.

Finally, at eBay Open 2024, sellers were promised that access to the Listing Quality Report would be expanding and that eBay was working to add insights from the report directly into Seller Hub and/or the App.

eBay Listing Quality Report Confusion Continues; Changes Planned For 2025
Sellers have been frustrated with uncertain status of the eBay Listing Quality Report, but Q&A from eBay Open 2024 has finally revealed future plans for this feature.

Apparently, according to Makkar, that work is finally being completed and sellers should start seeing these insights and recommendations with Seller Hub and the app - and an eBay employee in the Q&A chat confirmed that the Listing Quality Report should now be available for all sellers.
