eBay June 2026 Seller News: AI Payment Dispute Responses, Trading Card Price Guide & More!
eBay has posted their June 2026 Seller News with trading card price guide expansion, new coin condition requirements, AI payment dispute responses and more!
Here's what sellers need to know:
US
All sellers in the US will now have access to eBay's trading card price tool in the app, plus eBay is introducing new condition requirements for coins and a new AI-powered way to respond to chargebacks and payment disputes.

Trading Card Price Guide
The Trading Card Price Guide is now available to all US sellers in the eBay app, with more ways to explore card values, pricing trends, and recent sales.
Check recent sales, follow pricing trends, and see how similar cards are performing, all in one place—so you can make more informed decisions about your next move.
How to use Price Guide:
- Scan a card to see its value: You can use Price Guide to explore trends for any raw or graded trading cards, including digital cards. Getting started is easy:
- Open the eBay app and go to My eBay:Tap Scan cards and scan your trading card
- Instantly see recent sales, pricing trends, and market insights
Explore insights from any listing:
- Open a trading card listing in the eBay app
- Look for the Price Guide section and tap See insights
- Explore pricing history, active listings, and how similar cards are performing
Earlier iterations of price guide tools for trading cards ran into significant issues with comparisons not taking into account differences in condition or grade, leading to artificially low average prices that many sellers worried would also drive low-ball offers - so hopefully the new version has ironed out those problems to provide more accurate, relevant data.

Coin Conditions
Starting mid-June, all coin listings must include standardized condition details. Learn about the new requirements and review and update your listings now to keep selling smoothly.
These new coin conditions will require sellers to grading guidelines, taking into account wear, surface preservation, luster, strike detail, and any visible damage or alterations.

Intelligent Dispute Defense
New: Intelligent Dispute Defense lets you respond in one click with AI-generated replies.
That link leads to the eBay help page about handling payment disputes and chargebacks, but unfortunately there is no information on that page specifically mentioning Intelligent Dispute Defense, so it's not clear how exactly this will work.
Sellers who hoped eBay would provide more details about their plans for Managed Shipping for the US in this update will be disappointed, but here's what we know so far about the test they are currently running with select sellers in limited categories and locations.
