WhatnotCon is back—and it’s set to be the biggest weekend in collectibles all year. From May 15–18, Whatnot transforms into a digital convention with four days of standout shows, limited-edition products, and headlining creators across Comics, Toys, Coins, TCG and more.

WhatnotCon includes platform-wide promotions and a lineup featuring Rob Liefeld, Gary Vee, Tyler Kirkham, Image Comics, Brody King, Tolarian Community College, TopPops, SolidBrixStudios, and more with 25 exclusive product drops from variant comics and enamel pins to collectible figures.

But it's not just about the big names - sellers across the platform can sign up to participate, with Whatnot providing tips, tricks and official branded assets for use on social media and beyond.

Eligible categories include Comics & Anime, Toys (Funko, LEGO, Diecast, Disney, Action Figures, Designer, Dolls, Plush etc.), Coins & Money, Media (Video Games, Books, Movies) and Trading Card Games and signing up is easy, just schedule your show(s) in the Whatnot app, tag them with the [WhatnotCon 2025] tag, and go live between May 15–18.

The annual event comes as Whatnot as experienced a massive surge in growth, surpassing $3 Billion in GMV in 2024 and raising a $265 Million Series E funding round at a $5 Billion valuation to fuel their ongoing mission to build the future of shopping.

In a recent interview with Ann Gehan at the The Information (paywall), VP of Categories and Expansion Armand Wilson says he believes 2025 will be the year of live shopping, revealing users now spend an average of 80 minutes a day on the app and that more people have signed up for Whatnot so far this year than they had total sign up in 2024.
