StockX has revamped their seller program and will be introducing lower base fees and other updates effective July 1, 2023.

On July 1, StockX will roll out lower fees for all sellers globally. The revamped seller program includes new perks and benefits, as well as adjusted seller level qualification thresholds.

When the new program goes into effect, existing sellers may see their level change due to the threshold adjustments, but they can still access the same benefits they currently enjoy while also taking advantage of lower base fees. As a part of the new qualification process, top sellers will be delineated into a more concise and manageable group, allowing StockX to provide an even more personalized service to its most committed sellers.

β€œThis new fee structure is attractive to sellers and it demonstrates our commitment to empowering entrepreneurship in our community,” said StockX co-founder and COO, Greg Schwartz.

The new fee for first-time sellers is 9%, while StockX’s most active sellers can earn as low as 5%. The company is keeping policies in place that induce positive behavior from sellers, such as minimum ship times. These practices are vital to StockX providing a smooth buying experience from start to finish.

The company says they are lowering base fees for all sellers, but seller level qualifications are changing and sellers at high levels will have opportunities to lower fees even more with Quick Ship and Successful Ship bonuses.

We are excited to announce that on July 1, 2023 we will launch updates to the StockX Seller Program, including lower base fees for ALL Seller levels.

StockX makes selling easy; simply search for your product and set your price. No need to take product pictures, share personal information, or negotiate with potential Buyers. And the more you sell, the lower your rates.

Our base fee will be lowered to 9%, and sellers at higher levels will have the opportunity to earn even lower fees on StockX alongside additional perks and benefits. As a reminder, your sales activity between April 1, 2023 and June 30, 2023 (Quarter 2) determines your Seller level and fees for the next quarter.

Changes to the program will be reflected in your account starting July 1.

  • Base fee structure lowered by 1% across all levels.
  • Adjusted Seller Level qualification thresholds (see table below). While your level may change, all Seller levels will see lower base fees and similar benefits.
  • Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 Sellers can now qualify for an additional 2.0% off their fees through consistent performance with Quick Ship and Successful Ship bonuses, bringing the fees down to 6% for Level 3 Sellers, 5.5% for Level 4 Sellers and 5% for Level 5 Sellers who qualify.
  • Quick Ship qualification thresholds are increasing from 60% to 80% delivery.

You must continue selling in order to maintain your Seller Level. For example, if you complete 40 sales in a given quarter, you will be in Seller Level 3 during the following quarter. However, if during that following quarter, you complete 0 sales, your Seller Level will revert back to Level 1 for the quarter after that.

Note that you can level up at any point mid-quarter once you reach the sales requirements for the next level.
