Poshmark Seller Payout Problems Return, Status Page Shows All Clear
Poshmark sellers are once again having trouble withdrawing their earnings, just weeks after the company blamed previous payment delays on a banking partner transition and said it had moved seller redemptions to an additional payment provider to help resolve the problems.
Multiple sellers reported failed or canceled withdrawal requests November 1, affecting direct deposits, Instant Transfer, Venmo and PayPal. In correspondence shared with Value Added Resource, Poshmark support acknowledged an ongoing technical issue affecting several redemption methods, but the company's public system status page continues to show all systems operational with no new incident reported.
Poshmark marked the previous payment processing incident resolved October 14, following weeks of delays that left some sellers waiting two weeks or longer to receive their earnings.

That disruption began during a transition to a new banking partner, which Poshmark said caused some payment files to fail processing, delaying both direct deposits and checks. The company subsequently told affected sellers it had reprocessed their payments and moved redemptions to an additional payment partner for direct deposits, though it never clarified whether that was a temporary workaround or a permanent arrangement.
One seller provided Value Added Resource with an automated notice from Poshmark confirming their direct deposit request had been canceled. The notice said cancellations typically occur when there is a problem with the seller's bank account information or a failure in the original request.
The notice instructed the seller to verify their banking information before submitting another withdrawal request and suggested contacting their bank for assistance, despite the growing number of sellers reporting similar failures with previously working accounts. However, when the seller contacted Poshmark support, the company acknowledged a technical issue affecting multiple withdrawal methods.
We're currently experiencing a technical issue affecting our redemption options, including Instant Transfer, Venmo, and PayPal. Our team is aware of the issue and is actively working to restore these services as soon as possible.
Support advised that direct deposit through ACH was still available, but warned that those payments could take longer than usual to process while the company worked through the issue. Sellers were also reassured that their Poshmark balances remained secure and funds from canceled withdrawals should have been returned to their available balances.
Other sellers have reported similar problems on Reddit, including repeated direct deposit cancellations even after re-entering their banking information. One seller said each attempt was canceled approximately five minutes after submission, while others confirmed their bank details had not changed and previous withdrawals had been processed without issue.
In another discussion, sellers reported unsuccessful attempts to withdraw through multiple payment methods, with some saying Instant Transfer, PayPal and Venmo options had subsequently disappeared from the redemption menu entirely, leaving only direct deposit or a mailed check.
Direct deposits were also failing for some sellers, including one who initially reported a transfer showing as in process before confirming several hours later that it too had been canceled and the money returned to their Poshmark balance. Additional reports described similar cancellations, while another seller said payments were showing as completed even though the funds had not arrived.
During the previous disruption, Poshmark acknowledged degraded performance for some seller redemptions on its public status page October 2, but provided little additional information before marking the incident resolved October 14. This time, the company has yet to acknowledge any disruption publicly, even as its own support staff confirm that multiple withdrawal options are affected.
Poshmark has not disclosed how many sellers are affected, whether the latest problems are connected to the previous banking partner transition, or when the affected withdrawal services are expected to be restored. The company has not responded to a request for comment as of publication.
