Massive eBay Loading Speed Slowdown Brings Listing & Sales To A Halt 1-23-24
eBay now has a sitewide ticket open for multiple pages loading slowly or not opening correctly, ALERT15153.
We do have a sitewide ticket open for multiple eBay site pages are slow to load or not opening correctly. The ticket is ALERT15153 and if anyone is experiencing this I highly recommend to reach out to customer support to have your account added to the ticket for more examples for our Tech team to use as a reference.
eBay buyers and sellers report major slowdown in page loading and timeout errors preventing them from searching, purchasing, listing new items for sale or editing existing listings, bringing activity on the site to a halt.
Sometimes it won't load at all.
I'm also having this problem. Especially the active listings page. I have it set to just 25, and it's taking minutes to show. Especially the images.
I see other complaints about eBay being slow today but I can't even get my Manage Active Listings page to load! So much for updating any listings today!

Is anyone else having troubles making new listings...For the past three days when I go in to make up a new listing, when I click on something in the information spot it does nothing for minutes at a time...If you look down at the bottom it shows circle spinning and spinning for ever...My pictures disappear...When you click on a spot my cursor doesn't show up...It's pissing me off!!!
I have 20 or more new listings to post...Thousands of dollars worth of parts to get posted and I have only got 3 done in the past three days...I don't have time to sit and wait to post items...I have got other work to do...
I can usually fly through a new listing by using the sell similar feature...It is taking ten minutes or more to do one listing...WTH is going on??
Nothing but troubles since eBay took away the Classic View and stuck me with the new piece of bleep Selling Overview...I Absolutely Hate the new page!!!
Timing out on 2 different browsers when attempting to create listing on computer and with looking at sold listing areas.
I want to add a shipping option to my listings. However, on the vast majority of my listings, I get the following error message when I click edit:
"Well, this is embarrassing.
We're sorry, but the listing tool isn't working right this second.
Please try again later."

It appears ebay is having some loading issues on the seller side. Pages take about 30-90 seconds to fully load.
Yes, I’m seeing this problem as well. In some ways it’s good to know it’s not just me - I was afraid it was the fault of my ancient laptop that I really need to replace soon!
Reports are also spiking on DownDetector, showing the problem started around noon today.
Ebay will not load. i tried several times using google chrome. it is like it is frozen.
As usual, eBay's system status page shows no current outages or disruptions, despite massive reports in their own community forums to the contrary.
