eBay users with multiple accounts are experiencing a technical issue preventing them from being able to sign out of one account and log in to another.

I can’t log into my other account
Hello, I can’t log in to my other account, nor will it let me log in with my cell #.....I’m trying to log on to change that password as I feel like it’s been hacked possibly. Thanks,

Won’t logout of 1 account so I can log into another one

Have tried a couple different browsers, done an F12 empty cache & hard reload. Didn't help.

It's like the login info is not clearing once I log out.

Switching between seller ID’s
Trying to switch between my 3 seller ID’s in the sign in process, nearly impossible. Applies previous password, goes back to seller ID you are trying to switch from. Will not apply correct password. Come on Ebay fix this, it happened before and you did fix it then. Time to fix it again.

Same here, can't sign in to my other account, when I try it takes me back to this account no matter what I do, I reentered correct password and still am taken back to this account. Hope this gets straightened out soon, I have some things to ship today on the account I can't get to, C'mon ebay

eBay community staff have acknowledged the issue and stated there is an open sitewide ticket.

We apologise about the issues that you were experiencing when trying to switch in between different accounts. There is a sitewide ticket open to have this issue resolved. If yourself or others are still running into this I recommend to reach out to customer support and let them know that you are experiencing ALERT 14619.

As a temporary workaround, it's suggested to try using a different browser or an incognito browser window to sign in to any additional eBay accounts.

An eBay community member also suggests this workaround as well:

I called Customer Support. Here's how to get to the 2nd account without using a private browser or second browser.

When you click Sign in and Switch account, after you select the 2nd account and go to the password screen, you must now manually delete the password stars. Then you can select the 2nd account and its password from the dropdown menu and successfully log in to the 2nd account.

This used to happen automatically, often with first getting an "Oops, wrong password" message before getting the correct password.
