eBay Picture Errors, Corrupted Images 5-7-22
eBay users are reporting image errors when editing or creating listings and in search results
Just went to revise an item and was greeted by the following message about photo errors. Other listings are also generating the same message. I know the photos are standard jpgs that were showing yesterday.
Why are my photos on many of our existing listings being corrupted. We and buyers are unable to view them, and they were fine yesterday.
Is it just me that is having a problem taking pictures now? I am on my laptop, not cell. I am not using app either. Error message says invalid format, but I am not doing something different from what I have been usually doing.
I was about to bulk edit ~60 listings but the photos are missing in the bulk edit view - shows a photo icon and question mark where the photos should be. I did not proceed as I feared losing the images.
Same error on dot ca in trying to create a listing. There were no problems like this in creating a standard listing yesterday.
Note: Creating the listing on a PC in Chrome with old style listing tool.
Images don't appear to be working on @eBay right now. That'll create a few problems.

The eBay System Status page shows no current disruptions or outages, but it appears to be a widespread issue.
