eBay Loses Key Product Marketing Manager & Seller Advocate As Chuck Van Pelt Takes New Path
eBay set to lose key Product Marketing Manager and Seller Advocate as Chuck Van Pelt announces he is leaving the company after 10 years to take a new path.
In a post on LinkedIn, Van Pelt says it was not an easy decision, but his last day at the company will be November 7, 2025.

Chuck and his fellow Product Marketing Manager, Jonathan Chard, were often referred to by sellers as the "dynamic duo" with sessions hosted by the pair always being the highlight of recent Seller Check Ins and the annual eBay Open seller conference.
The one piece of feedback I hear most consistently from sellers after these events is they wish there was more time with Chuck and Jonathan, with some hoping eBay might revive the monthly community chat and/or the eBay for Business podcast with them as hosts.
During their session in the Winter 2025 Seller Check In last month, Van Pelt even explicitly mentioned how much he loved doing Q&As with sellers, saying he would spend hours just doing that if he could.
On a personal note, I've always appreciated how open to feedback Chuck has been when I've contacted him or engaged with him during seller events - even when questions were tough or feedback was not always positive, it was clear he really did have sellers' interest at heart and took advocating on behalf of sellers seriously.
Van Pelt did not give any clues about where his new path will be taking him, but sellers will surely miss having him in their corner.
