eBay Image Upload Problems 12-28-23
eBay sellers report problems adding pictures to listings in the mobile app experience after most recent update.
Just updated to iphone 15 and finished transferring everything from icloud. So the photos are from the old iphone.( NOT taken with the New Iphone! ）I tried to upload 4 photos like usual and nothing different but Nothing happens after selecting ADD. Typically the photos would pop up but instead nothing happens see attached photo #2 which is the Result after selecting ADD. All photos are jpeg or the default photo format and between 4-5.5 MB.
This is Obviously a Major Issue and As more Folks upgrade to the New Devices if Unaddressed. Unsure if this is a software issue or a setting issue on the New Device. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Yes same issue here!! Very aggravating!! Can’t get past that one screen when you upload photos. I have to force close the app to even get out of that screen. Right now I am only able to upload photos from the desktop on my phone. I have contacted eBay.
Hey there, I am having an issue with my photos. They will upload and all, but then there is no way to continue with the listing, like no done or continue button anymore, it’s gone. So then I try to exit the app and try again, but then it happens again and I am left with a draft with no photos.
I’m not sure if that makes sense but is this an update problem? I have turned my phone off and on, deleted and reinstalled the app and also have plenty of storage, help!!
My eBay app randomly switched in the middle of me listing today, almost as if it updated while I was on.
The photos will upload, but then there is no done button or any way to continue with the listing when I select and upload photos. There is no way to go back or forward, so then I exit the app and it leaves a draft with no photos.
EBAY, please revert to the old photo system. That was bad, but today's upgrade is awful. Half the photos don't load, if any, and when some are stuck in "uploading" it doesn't tell you which ones. Going live with half the photos is a recipe for refunds.
‘Photo Tips’ page unexpectedly appears and will NOT clear, so I can’t continue with my selling post??
The Add Photos From Mobile Device Click Button Is Not Responding. I Have Never Had This Problem Before.
It appears this may be a global issue as sellers in the UK are also reporting the problem.
From my iphone app I have clicked 'upload photos' and selected 8 photos shown with a tick. When I press 'add' it takes me to the screen with all the photos I have chosen. From this page there is nowhere to go to either add them to my listing or to go back. Therefore I am unable to add any photos to my listings.
This 'upload photos' is a new icon on the app and doesn't work.
I have deleted the app. Reinstalled the app. And turned my phone on and off and nothing works. Can someone in layman terms tell me what is going on please. Thought I would start the New Year off by decluttering, and this rate it will be Easter! Happy New Year!!
Sellers who are attempting to report the issue to eBay support on Twitter have so far not received any helpful responses.
