Poshmark PoshFest 2025: Updates For Offers, Price Suggestions, Posh Shows, Listing Photos & More
Poshmark unveiled new features and tools as part of PoshFest 2025 Hackathon, with updates for Offers, Price Suggestions, Apple Visual Intelligence, Posh Shows, Listing Photos and more!
Offers
Seller can expect two new improvements to Offers this year, building on the recently introduced Smart Sell feature which allows sellers to automate offers with minimum prices for acceptance.

First, Poshmark is going to extend Smart Sell to Offers To Likers, according to Heads of Buyer and Seller Experience, Vanessa Wong and Yogesh Argawal.
For the people who are using it they have asked can we make Smart Sell even smarter right? Can we go ahead and start doing offer to likers?
So yes that's what we're going to do. If you have turned on Smart Sell on your listings when whenever a shopper likes your item we are going to send offer on your behalf right and we'll continue to negotiate similar to buyer offers.
Argawal also announced that sellers will now see offers at a minimum of 40% of the listing price rather than 20% to help discourage lowball offers.
let me ask, how many of you get frustrated when you get an offer at $20 for a $100 listing price?...
...So, what we're going to do is we're going to try to change it to 40%.
Currently, it's at 20%. Anybody can make an offer at about $20 on an $100 item. We'll change it to $40.
Price Suggester
Poshmark will soon start to suggest two different prices for items when sellers are creating a listing - one that will likely lead to a faster sale and the other will be the estimated selling price for those who are will to wait a little longer to try to get more money for their item.
Today what we are announcing are giving you a sneak peek at we are going to start suggesting two different prices for every item that you're listing.
One which we feel very confident about that if you list at that price it's going to sell much much faster. The other one is the estimated sale price which is if you want to wait a little longer and try it out you can use that price.
At the same time if you use a price which we call hot deal then we are going to put hot deal label on every surface area wherever your listing is marketed which is search, closet, brands, listing details.
We hope when you use this you will see a lot more sales going on and your sell through rate improve significantly.
Apple Visual Intelligence
Users with iOS devices will soon be able to take advantage of new features in the Poshmark app, enhancing existing Posh Lens functionality to enable image-based search and product discovery directly from your phone.
We are very excited to enable image-based search and product discovery directly from your phone powered by the ondevice AI.
So with a press of the button on your Apple device, you can snap a photo and it directly does an image search on Poshmark from your phone. Yogesh, you want to show that button?
So if you have an iPhone 16, on the right side, you will see a camera button, right? When you click on that, it opens up a camera. You can start taking a photo of any items and you'll soon start seeing with the iOS 26 release, a Poshmark icon comes on the top.
So you'll be able to search those item in the Poshmark app. So you could quickly like buy that item or even sell similar.
So we're partnering with Apple on this to bring you Apple Visual Intelligence.
We'll launch with Apple iOS 26 which launches on Monday. So update your iOS and also update the Poshmark app to get this next week.
Order Merging For Posh Shows
We we already do bundling for all the items that a shopper shop from a given show, but you like to have more. And that's what we're going to do next. We will allow you to merge multiple orders into a bundle.
With access to this tool, you will be able to shop more, market your closet, market your shows, and give options to the shoppers to buy more and more from you so that you can package into one and they don't have to pay multiple shipping.
Listing Photos
Poshmark will be changing photo aspect ratios from square to rectangular - while this may ultimately be a better way to display some items, it could also be a major pain if sellers have to retake pictures and/or edit existing listings to make sure the images fit in the new ratio.
Over the last 15 years since the invention of smartphones, how many of you have taken anything but a portrait photo? Right? Our life is captured in a portrait photo inside our camera roll.
But when you come to Poshmark, your portrait photo doesn't work right. Whether you are taking it from photo gallery or using Poshmark camera app, you have to fit everything in a square box.
We are going to get rid of the square boxes and give you the entire camera to capture your item and merchandise the way you'd like to merchandise it.
They'll also soon be automatically removing backgrounds on cover photos to present a clean and consistent experience for buyers in search and browse results.
You guys have taken all your cover shots. A lot of you are doing a good job at that but some of them become very messy from a shopper point of view. When they go through all the search results pages and things like that, it doesn't give a clean and professional look.
So what are we going to do? We are going to take a cover shot photo of yours. We're going to make a copy of it and going to clean the background. So that it gives much more cleaner and crisper look to the shoppers when they are shopping your item which will help you make more sales.
While Argawal did not specifically mention AI being used for this feature, it's likely they are using some type of machine learning and automation to accomplish the background removal.
Sellers in the comments section of the Hackathon YouTube stream were less than impressed with the new feature announcements, with several calling Poshmark leadership out of touch and disconnected.
I have never seen a group of people more disconnected from the users on their platform. NOTHING here is what real sellers are asking for.
You know what we need? A working messaging system. An integrated bulk listing editor. Faster payouts. Closet vetting, to get rid of the dead closets and make the site safer from Spam and hackers. SUFFICIENT NOTICE before major changes like the buyer fees FAIL, And the shipping changes, that always seem to happen in the 4th Quarter.
I don't think a single one of you have EVER managed a reseller closet or shop, and it SHOWS.
I want almost none of this. Don't touch my photos. Make features THAT HELP ME MAKE MONEY. Another round of junk.
Poshmark, I love you, but all of these updates are insulting to my intelligence. Offer floor? No serious seller cares, we just math and counter offer. Image search updates? We are not stupid we can describe a red coat (and if someone can’t, google already has a better search). AI updates? Again no serious seller cares we are adults and can write a paragraph about how lovely this item is.
Feed updates? The only update we have ever asked of you is the ability to customize the landing page or limit it to selling functionality and this is not that. Search innovation? You mean showing ads every other line? I could go on. For the love of money, please stop treating buyers and sellers like toddlers, who cannot read or write, and create some serious tools.
Founder CEO, Manish Chandra also give his last "State of the Posh Union" address, wrapping up his time leading the company after announcing he will be stepping down at the end of this month.
