Poshmark Brings Gift Cards To Canada Nearly 3 Years After US Launch
Poshmark is finally bringing gift cards to Canada, nearly three years after launching the feature for US shoppers.
The marketplace announced the Canadian rollout August 5, offering digital gift cards from C$25 to C$500 that can be delivered by email and redeemed on Poshmark Canada.

Gift cards do not expire or incur fees and cannot be reloaded. Buyers do not need a Poshmark account to purchase one, though recipients will need an account to redeem it.
Poshmark is once again using CashStar to handle gift card sales, the same third-party provider it used when the feature first launched in the US in 2023.

While Poshmark is extending the program to Canada, eBay is moving in the opposite direction, ending new digital gift card sales on August 3.

Canada is now Poshmark's only market outside the US. The company shut down its UK, Australia and India marketplaces in 2023 as it narrowed its focus to North America, and new CEO Namsun Kim said in March that Poshmark still wants to "win North America" before expanding abroad again.
Poshmark's original US gift card rollout arrived December 12, 2023, with the company promoting it as a last-minute addition for holiday shoppers. Canada is getting the feature several months ahead of the 2026 holiday season.
