The eBay Tech Blog published an article this week about a "new" search redesign it claims will "elevate shopper experience" with seamless, intuitive features, but savvy users struggle to find anything really new or innovative in this update.
eBay is turning to AI-enforcement to detect and punish sellers who try to skirt cancellation policies, but what happens if the bots don't always get it right?

When pressed to provide a more definitive timeframe to address the rest of the questions, or at least give community members who took the time to participate the courtesy of a statement if there was no intent to provide further responses, eBay staff again attempted to brush the topic away by saying "some things have come up" which prevent them from having or sharing an updated time table.
eBay finally recognized unionized workers at owned-subsidiary TCGPlayer in August 2023, but TCGUnion-CWA still doesn't have a contract as company continues to drag out bargaining.
