Ray and Nicole Ward, a brother/sister production team at Opalite Media, have announced the upcoming release of their documentary short "TAKE HER DOWN: The eBay Cyberstalking Scandal" on April 25, 2024.

The documentary features interviews with law enforcement, journalists, and eBay resellers, highlighting the role of top executives in the 2019 cyberstalking scandal that targeted Ina and David Steiner of EcommerceBytes, seeking to change their reporting through intimidation and gain their assistance to unmask the identity of Fidomaster/unsuckEBAY, a frequent commenter and source who also sparked the ire of top executives at the company.

The filmmakers say they were particularly interested in the reaction and impact on eBay sellers because of the broad implications the story has for people that power large platform companies, and how these companies respond to external criticism.

Thank you for making the video available here... I suspect that the highly sophisticated management at eBay has instructed all of its employees to NOT visit your fantastic website. Or that of eCommercebytes. How deliciously humiliating!!

Ex-Ebay seller here. We get to learn that, by default, buyers always lie. And your are most likely NOT an exception to this.

That "The buyer is raising an issue that was correctly disclosed in the listing" sounds too good to be true.
More than once I had buyers who claimed for something that was clearly written in the product description, yet ebay agreed with the buyer because it was not described specifically in the title. Meaning, the description doesn't matter and it is useless.
At this point in time ebay is totally broken, so those small changes are like a baby pacifier to make a baby shut up but without actually improving anything.
ebay should had never remove the possibility to leave negative feedback to buyers. That speaks a lot about this selling platform.

Might be related to the new listings home page that dropped. It's only usable on desktop and was announced yesterday.
