UPDATE 11-17-25

Poshmark's system status page indicates they are still working to fully resolve this issue, but deleted listings should be recovered and restrictions or suspensions cause by it should be lifted - however, affected sellers may have been forced to change their passwords.

Update - We are working on an issue affecting some sellers who use third-party services to access Poshmark, which caused unexpected listing removals. As a proactive security measure, we are resetting passwords for potentially impacted accounts. Impacted listings have been restored, and any temporary listing restrictions have been lifted.

Meanwhile, sellers are still trying to figure out who's really to blame - SideKick says they confirmed their system did not delete any listings while Poshmark simply refers to "a third party" in their respective statements.

But Poshmark sellers on Reddit are not convinced, saying if a disgruntled employee had accessed SideKick's systems they could have potentially used that to obtain login credentials which allowed them to deleted listings technically outside of SideKick - and either way, they're very concerned that their requests to close their SideKick accounts are not receiving any response.

I just received a generic email from sidekick stating that they did not cause the listings removal. At this point, I don’t even care about that. It’s the fact that I cannot access my account in any way. The lack of response is ultimately what is making me want to completely cancel.

Poshmark sellers are in a panic as listings are being mass deleted from the platform in error triggering account suspensions and no one knows where to point the finger.

Poshmark is mass deleting users listings! And then punishing us for it! I am LIVID!

Something absolutely insane happened this morning. I woke up to the excessive listing removal policy. The only problem is, I only sell on Poshmark and do not cross list which means I don’t delete when sold on other apps, and I only repost my items after 60 days which is well within the rules. My account has not been so active as to have 200 new listings and 102 deletions. I also had 450 listings and now “posh stats” says I have 30.

Someone else posted here that their listings are also missing. This is a failure of epic proportions on Poshmark’s part.

The other strange thing is that I woke up to the excessive listing removal policy, and they said my privileges were revoked. And that got a second email saying my privileges were not revoked. However when I go to make a listing, it won’t allow me. I have contacted support but this is actually maybe the worse glitch I’ve ever seen Poshmark have.

Many affected accounts have used Posh Sidekick or other third party apps to assist with sharing and/or cross-listing to other platforms, spurring speculation that one of these apps may have been hacked or that Poshmark has decided to crackdown on these listings.

Several users on Reddit claim to have heard directly from SideKick that an ex-employee may have been responsible for recently sending strange messages to users, which prompted concerns that this alleged rogue employee may have also accessed other systems or done something to cause listings to be deleted.

But others say they've seen reports from people who say they've never used SideKick and that SideKick is saying it's not them, it's Poshmark.

I've been corresponding with sidekick about this - its not them. They've actually been FAR more responsive, empathetic and helpful than poshmark so far.

Seeing that this was a global problem, I'm betting they're working on a response. I have read people who do not use bots and people who use Flyp also waking up to this today. It's not exclusive to sidekick.

Poshmark isn't singling out SideKick specifically, but their messaging to sellers does point the finger primarily at "third party apps" in an apparent attempt to distance themselves from liability for the issue.

The Poshmark system status page was also updated earlier today to show they are working on resolving the issue.

Identified - We’re investigating an issue that’s causing some listing to be removed and, in some cases, temporary listing suspensions. Our team is treating this as a top priority and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We’ll provide updates as we work to fix this.

The problem comes after Poshmark has instituted several controversial new policies, killing off the onsite bulk sharing tool and temporarily or permanently suspending accounts which end or delete "excessive" amounts of listings from the platform.

Poshmark has also had a major shakeup in the executive ranks in recent months as  co-founder and CEO Manish Chandra recently stepped down, passing leadership to Executive Chairman and Naver President of Investments, Namsun Kim, in a move that has only stoked seller concern that the company is moving away from its founding community ethos.

It remains to be seen if accounts affected by this issue which have been suspended will be reinstated and if so, if deleted listings will be able to be recovered.
