Wix-Owned InkFrog to Shut Down June 1 as eBay Sellers Seek Alternatives

Wix-owned eBay listing and inventory management platform InkFrog is planning to shut down on June 1, 2026, according to emails shared by multiple users, giving customers just over a month to export data and find alternative solutions.

The company has not yet made a public announcement, but users say they received an email on April 29 outlining the shutdown timeline, including a May 31 deadline to export listing data.

The email reads in part:

Hello, We’ve made the difficult decision to shut down inkFrog effective June 1, 2026This was not an easy choice, but after careful consideration we believe it’s the right step forward.

We’re truly grateful for your support and for being part of our communityHere’s what this means for you:You can continue using inkFrog normally until June 1, 2026.

Data download: You’ll be able to export your listing data into CSV format directly from your account dashboard until May 31, 2026. → Export Now

Refunds: Once the service is fully closed, we will automatically process refunds for any unused days remaining in your billing cycle, calculated on a daily basis and returned to your original payment method.

The email also directed users to the company's help page' for contact information in case of additional questions.

InkFrog was founded in 1999 by Greg Sisung, with Tomas Salas joining as Chief Product and Technology Officer in 2006, helping to build the company's integrations with eBay, Amazon, Shopify and BigCommerce.

The company was acquired by Wix in 2020, where it continued to operate as part of the larger Wix Ecommerce platform.

Requests for comment from both InkFrog and Wix have not received a response as of time of publishing. Stay tuned for updates in this developing story.
