eBay UK is updating the names of several shipping options as InPost completes the integration and rebranding of Yodel services across its UK delivery network.

Sellers will no longer see or be able to purchase labels under the Yodel name through eBay’s shipping label platform.

The existing “Yodel Store to Door | Drop-off” option is being renamed “InPost Shops | Drop-off,” while “InPost Lockers (including Yodel) | Drop-off” will become “24/7 InPost Lockers | Drop-off.”

eBay says sellers should look for the updated InPost service names when purchasing labels, although some labels may continue to display Yodel branding while the transition is phased in through July and August, according to an announcement posted in the eBay UK community forum.

Update to delivery label names for UK sellers | eBay UK Announcements
We want to let you know about an important update to delivery labels on eBay for UK sellers.Following InPost’s acquisition of Yodel, services on eBay are being…

The changes follow InPost’s acquisition of Yodel and the company’s move to bring home delivery, shop and locker services under a single consumer-facing brand.

As of July 17, Yodel by InPost web accounts and the company’s app are no longer available, with customers directed to use the InPost website and app to track parcels, manage delivery preferences and request changes to eligible deliveries.

Notifications previously sent under the Yodel by InPost name are also moving to InPost, although customers may temporarily receive messages carrying either brand while systems are transferred.

InPost says existing Yodel home and store delivery services will continue operating, with former Yodel Stores now referred to as InPost Shops. The locations and underlying delivery services are not being removed as part of the name change.

That distinction may be important for eBay sellers and buyers during the transition, since the carrier name displayed when purchasing a label, selecting a checkout option or receiving a tracking notification may not always match the branding printed on the parcel.

InPost has warned that the Yodel name may remain visible on some retailer websites and apps into 2027 as partners update their systems. Regardless of which name appears, parcels using those services will be handled and tracked through InPost.

A separate Yodel Direct by InPost service is currently unaffected and will continue to operate through its existing website and customer accounts.

For eBay UK sellers, the immediate change is largely one of naming and presentation. Existing shop, locker and home delivery networks remain available, but sellers purchasing labels through eBay will increasingly see those services consolidated under the InPost brand.
