eBay UK Sellers Report Payment Processing Delays
eBay sellers in the UK are once again experiencing a delay in payment processing as funds that were set to be released on January 4, 2026 are still in limbo.
Affected sellers are posting about the issue in the eBay UK community forum and across social media, saying support has confirmed there is a widespread technical issue impacting payment processing but there is no estimated timeframe for it to be resolved.

I noticed one payment not processed on the 3rd Jan, that has magnified to 6 other payments from the 4th jan that have not been processed as yet ( 5th Jan) - yet the narrative shows on each transaction as 'Processing : to be completed on 04 Jan'Ive only received 10 % of what i was expecting - the balance shows as Total Funds' with 'You have no upcoming payouts'. as ebays Payout narrative.
ebay seem to have a new obsession in holding / keeping monies longer these days.
I had a sale this morning and there is now no estimated processing date, appears to be an issue with eBay...I have just spoken to then on the phone, was also told its a known technical issue, no time frame on being fixed.
Anyone not had theirs funds available since yesterday?
Orders are saying funds available 4th Jan but nothing available this morning. Still showing as processing. Anyone else the same?
Just checked payment status of this mornings orders and nothing is showing as being available. Every order is now blocked from payout.
eBay's official support channel on X, @askeBay, has acknowledged the issue and says payments should be processed "soon" but didn't give any specific timeframe for when "soon" might be.

Meanwhile, the system status page for eBay.co.uk shows all green with no disruptions or outages, including for payouts - which is unsurprising since eBay has a long history of not keeping this page up to date, making it completely useless and forcing sellers to flood eBay's support channels when issues occur since they cannot trust they will get accurate or up to date information from this page.
