eBay Tests Removing "Sell One Like This" Button From View Item Listing Pages

eBay sellers are struggling with more undisclosed testing this week as "Sell One Like This" button removed from View Item pages for some users.

The test appears to have several iterations, with some saying they now only have the option to "Create A New Listing" and others saying they have both the "Sell One Like This" option and a new button to "Sell Something Else."

Those who are only seeing "Create A New Listing" are frustrated because it opens a completely blank listing form, which gets rid of the convenience of "Sell One Like This" which transfers over the title, item specifics and other details from the original listing page.

Ebay: bring back Sell Similar button over Create New Listing button, stop making changes no one asks

Enough already, you've made most sellers lives more difficult by this. When we review current items, we dont use Create a new listing and build it from scratch, we use Sell Similar and modify it.

Again, a change no one was demanding from you. Stop messing around with what we are using and depending on. Stop making it harder to sell here. Get rid of the create new listing button and bring back the Sell Similar button when we view an item.

I also see this on both Chrome and MSedge and its completely infuriating cause it makes so much more work for sellers. So Dumb and actually makes me less motivated to sell more items. If I have to do this I want a reduction of fees to 8-9%

If it ain't broke, break it. eBay replaces the sell similar button with "create new listing". WHY?!

I'm honestly getting really bleep fed up with the constant changes, that literally not a single darn user has asked for. It's these stupid developers that justify their job by making one little change on their user interface that makes the experience worse.

I had create new listing - no sell similar button. Had to go to mobile and find it there, save for later.

I think they are doing some A-B testing. I had a choice of Sell a Similar Item and Sell a Different Item when listing from other seller's listings today.

eBay has not provided any information about this apparent test, just like the recent Curated For You test for Stores - and as sellers have pointed out with other undisclosed testing eBay is doing, even when the feature or design update might ultimately be positive or beneficial, it's frustrating and not ideal to have things changing with no notice during the all important Q4 holiday shopping season.
