eBay & Etsy Announce Shipping Discounts For Canada Post
Sellers on eBay and Etsy can now take advantage of discounted Canada Post shipping when printing labels through the marketplaces.
eBay Canada is pleased to announce new, deeper discounts for sellers purchasing their Canada Post shipping on eBay Labels.
eBay Labels is our on-platform label-printing service, enabling sellers to purchase and print their shipping labels directly through eBay.
Previously, sellers using eBay Labels received Canada Post rates equivalent to the Solution for Small Business Level 1 discounts. Beginning April 27, all Canada Post shipping rates purchased on eBay Labels will be equivalent to Solution for Small Business Level 4 discounts.
This is the highest published small business shipping discount.

Canada Post Tracked Packet™-USA is the most commonly used mail class on Etsy offered by Canada Post for small and lightweight items (less than 2kg) going to the US from Canada. We’re excited to offer this mail class to Etsy sellers at a highly discounted rate of 20% to 40% off compared to Canada Post Solutions for Small Business rates. These new rates are available starting today, April 24.
In order to take advantage of this special pricing, you’ll need to register for a Solutions for Small Business account with Canada Post, or connect your existing account to your Etsy shop. Discounted rates will automatically apply if you select this mail class. Most Etsy sellers should qualify for a Solutions for Small Business account, but eligibility is determined by Canada Post and is not guaranteed.
Keep in mind, Canada Post can’t count these Canada Post Tracked Packet™-USA purchases toward your savings level.
