StockX Live Comes To Web As Klarna Partnership Expands To US, Canada
StockX is moving quickly to expand its new Live shopping experience, bringing livestream auctions to the web less than two months after launching on iOS, while an expanded Klarna partnership adds more payment options for customers in the U.S. and Canada.
CEO Greg Schwartz announced this week that StockX Live is now available on the web, giving buyers the option to watch and bid from desktop or mobile browsers instead of the iOS app.

StockX officially entered the live shopping arena at the end of July, with a focus on sneakers, trading cards and collectibles.

Live offers real-time standard and sudden-death auctions, along with giveaways. Unlike the traditional StockX marketplace, Live purchases ship directly from the seller rather than automatically going through a StockX verification center, with transactions instead covered by the company's Buyer Promise. StockX Listings launched in June, opening the platform to used sneakers, vintage apparel and other unique items outside the company's traditional catalog.
The rollout has moved quickly. For comparison, eBay Live launched in June 2022 on both iOS and Android, but desktop and mobile browser access did not arrive until April 2024. StockX got from iOS-only to the web in about six weeks, with Android support still "coming soon."
Klarna also announced September 8 that its payment options are now available at StockX checkout for U.S. and Canadian customers. The companies were already partnered across 10 European markets and Australia, with the Adyen-powered expansion bringing Klarna's interest-free Pay in 4 and longer-term financing options to two of StockX's largest markets.
