eBay Sellers Confused By "eBay Send Is Experiencing Issues" Shipping Warning
An unclear and possibly erroneous warning about shipping being down is causing confusion and concern amongst eBay sellers as some report seeing banner saying "eBay Send is experiencing issues" when trying to purchase labels through the platform.

Shipping is down and I can't find any updates
"Please be aware that eBay Send is experiencing issues at the moment. We apologize for any inconvenience and if affected, ask that you try again later."
Some say printing shipping labels still works, despite the ominous sounding warning, but it may mean that USPS is having trouble recognizing the tracking.
Shipping still worked (at least it did 4 hours after you posted this) but it still says that BUT...
what it means is USPS is having 'tracking issues' (I put one of the new tracking numbers in and that is what USPS stated).
Ebay may have said that, but I didn't notice.
Longtime eBay community contributor, WastingTime101 chimed in to confirm that eBay Send is specific only to eBay Standard Envelope and eBay International Standard Delivery services, and that he had no issues printing an ESE label this morning, so the issue may be resolved and the warning may just not have been taken down yet.
eBay Send is specific to 2 services:
eBay Standard Envelope
eBay International Standard Delivery (not to be confused with the similarly named eBay International Shipping)
I had no problem buying an eBay Standard Envelope label just now, so the issue may be fixed.
Unfortunately, ESE and EISD are both services where the labels can only be purchased through eBay, so if those are currently not working, sellers will simply have to wait until the issue is fixed to purchase their labels.
However, other services should still be working and able to be purchased through eBay but if not, sellers may need to look to alternatives like Pirate Ship as a workaround to make sure packages are shipped on time.
