eBay Live Buyers Left Without Video Receipts On Multi-Hour Livestreams

Buyers report problems with eBay Live video receipts from multi-hour livestreams with no help from support to access import purchase records.

eBay Live shopping streams are supposed to provide buyers with both an emailed transaction confirmation and a video receipt allowing them to access a replay of the exact moment in that specific live show their items were shown and purchased.

According to the eBay Live help and policy page, these video receipts should be available for 180 days.

Viewing Video Receipts
A Video Receipt is a replay link for each item you bought during an eBay Live event. It lets you revisit the exact moments your item was displayed on screen during the livestream.

Your Video Receipts are ready as soon as the livestream ends. They appear automatically in your purchase history, and each opens in a new tab at the moment your item was shown on screen.

Video Receipts are available for up to 180 days after the event. If you can’t find your receipt, check your order details again later, or contact eBay customer service. In some cases, the replay may have been removed, but our team can review it if needed.

But a buyer in the eBay community reports they're experiencing problems with video receipts for items purchased later in live streams that are over an hour - and support has so far been unable to assist.

How to get video receipt from eBay Live purchases when the video is not posted to account?

I need a video receipt for 2 large purchases I made on an eBay livestream. Unfortunately, the video attached to the purchases cuts off less than 1 hour into the stream, which is before the time I made my purchases.

I tried multiple things to escalate this to eBay support including reporting a technical issue, sending an e-mail, going round in circles with an AI customer service bot, and contacting the seller. I have yet to actually reach a human on eBay's customer support team in regards to this...

the first 54:54 (minutes:seconds) of the livestream appear in the history but then it's cut off. This was a multi-hour livestream and the 2 purchases I made were not made within the first hour.
