Sellers are scrambling as new forced free returns requirement for eBay Motors Parts and Accessories goes into effect with many questions, concerns, and confusion still lingering over which categories are affected and other key aspects of the program.

eBay continues to insert AI into every aspect of the buying and selling experience, with new test of eBay.AI generated item detail highlights added to listing pages to draw buyer attention to key selling points in highly visible call to action placement.

But in less than magical AI news, sellers are reporting this week that the bulk AI listing tool is not working on trading cards, failing to identify key item details.

eBay advised sellers earlier this month of USPS rate changes taking effect July 13th, including promising support in the listing and label purchase flows to designate items as Irregular or Non-Standard packaging to comply with surcharges and help avoid postage adjustments after shipping.

Sellers in Germany can now take advantage of free legal consultations, advice, and support as part of their existing Shop subscriptions. The recent development taps partners in the legal and compliance industry in effort to add value for business sellers with Shops.

eBay experienced payout problems earlier this week that were quickly corrected, but lack of communication and mysterious schedule change causes confusion and concern for sellers.

UPDATE: eBay community staff have provided additional information about this phone verification for auction bidding requirement, confirming that the purpose is to verify bids on a specific auction, not a one time identity verification.
