Walmart Ups Sneaker Game With New Stadium Goods Partnership
Walmart is continuing efforts to take market share in competitive Sneakers space with new Stadium Goods partnership giving customers more access to authentic, premium kicks from top brands like Nike, Jordan, On and UGG.
SVP Walmart Marketplace and Walmart Fulfillment Services, Manish Joneja, announced the collaboration in a company press release, saying the launch "connects Walmart’s marketplace growth to cultural storytelling, celebrating self-expression and family moments just in time for the holidays."

Today, I’m thrilled to announce a major step forward for Walmart and for sneaker lovers everywhere: we’re once again expanding our assortment of elite brands through a collaboration with Stadium Goods, one of the premier marketplaces for authentic, premium sneakers. Just in time for the holiday shopping season, exclusive Stadium Goods styles are now available through Walmart Marketplace on Walmart.com.
From iconic Air Jordans to legendary Air Force 1s and more, our customers now have more direct access to some of the most coveted sneakers out there — backed by Stadium Goods’ reputation for authenticity and selection...
...And this is just the beginning. The Walmart Marketplace launch of Stadium Goods is part of our broader commitment to offer customers more of the brands they want — whether they’re collectors, trendsetters, or families like mine. We’re proud to now offer one of the largest selections of premium sneakers anywhere, right at your fingertips.
Joneja invited sneakerheads to share their Walmart.com finds on social media by tagging @Walmart to show off their style, stories, and sneaker spirit.
The new partnership comes as Walmart has been pushing aggressively into collectibles over the last year, including a similar partnership with StockX announced last year.

Walmart has also been looking to take market share in key categories like trading cards, luxury handbags and fashion, and Motors parts and accessories - all with help from a growing roster of ex-eBay talent.

Meanwhile, Walmart's StockX partnership has also recently expanded to include hot collectibles like Labubus, Shortboxed is bringing comic books to the marketplace, and a new deal with OpenAI will allow Walmart Marketplace items to be purchased directly in ChatGPT via Instant Checkout.
