eBay Expands Things People Love Marketing With New eBay Stories Global Brand Campaign
eBay expands on Things.People.Love concept with “eBay Stories” brand campaign highlighting joy of buying & selling unique & meaningful items on the platform.

The UK spots are focused mostly on Consumer to Consumer (C2C) selling, touting no fees for selling for private sellers on eBay UK.

Or this UK spot for lamp lovers.

eBay has also been working with global PR powerhouse Edelman to recruit private UK sellers for a paid case study and media spotlight opportunities, though it's unclear if participants stories may be featured in future spots for this current campaign,

eBay Courts Private UK Sellers For Media Spotlight With Paid Case Study Opportunity
eBay’s latest PR push to recruit private UK sellers for paid case study raises ethics, transparency & conflict of interest concerns.

The ads for the US market feature "focus verticals" like fashion, auto parts and accessories, sports memorabilia and collectible trading cards, and refurbished electronics, highlighting the millions of items to be found on eBay.

While the 30 second ad spot above includes multiple mini "stories" across those categories, eBay is also taking some of the stories and split them out into individual shorter ads, like this one showing a man catching a baseball at a game, giving it to a kid in the crowd and then buying it back later on eBay.

Or this one featuring estate sale vintage jewelry finds backed by Authenticity Guarantee.

Sellers in the eBay community forum gave glowing reviews to the campaign, saying they hope the new ads will bring in more buyers as the all important Q4 shopping season kicks off.

Saw TWO new Ebay TV adv for COLLECTABLES!

Over the last few days have seen two different ebay advertisements for collectables on TV.

From the three 'story lines' on what I guess is the main one, there are three other ones showing the individually story lines.

The individual one I've seen shows a guy catching a baseball, giving to the kid next to him, then buying it? back on ebay.

That's good news. I certainly hope it works, and we can get new potential buyers interested in eBay.

Others are reporting hearing Ads for Ebay on the Radio too, others have seen stuff in Social Media. All good things, helping draw in customers for the Holiday Season.

GREAT STUFF, keep it coming Ebay!!!
