Sellers report glitch in eBay Promoted Listings Priority cost per click campaigns leaves them in the dark without suggested daily bids to guide their ad spend strategy.

The problem began last week, according to a post in the eBay UK community forum, and appears to affect existing ad campaigns - the suggested daily bid for current keywords is shown initially, but disappears for all keywords once a new keyword is added.

Todays Suggested Keyword Bid Not Showing On All Priority Manual Targeting Campaigns

Todays suggested bid missing on all of our priority manual targeting campaigns? Anyone else? Not sure how I feel about ad's being run without knowing what the suggested bid is?

...how can we effectively run ads when we can't see what the recommended bid is?

When I go to add a keyword, I can see the recommended bids, but as soon as I add a keyword to the campaign the recommended bid becomes blank

Other sellers experiencing the same issue suggested ending the campaign and starting a new campaign to see if that fixes the issue, but that type of workaround may come with risks, especially if it's a long running, successful campaign.

Unfortunately ending the campaign is not an option, they are long standing successful campaigns that if I ended them would be absolutely terrible for ACOS/ROAS.

Affected sellers are still waiting for answers, saying they reported the issue to eBay support who promised an update in "24 hours"...over 3 days ago.

Stay tuned for updates and let us know in the comments below if you are seeing this or other issues with eBay Promoted Listings Priority cost per click ads!
