Sellers continue to report multiple glitches as eBay app experiences network error and Seller Hub summary and Traffic Reports are unavailable.

The latest round of technical problems started on Friday when eBay's shipping program was preventing sellers from purchasing USPS Ground Advantage labels, then continued into the weekend as sellers reported Traffic reports in Seller Hub were completely missing Organic impressions and views.

Organic Impressions & Views Missing From eBay Traffic Reports
eBay sellers report tech issues with impression & view analytics as Traffic reports appear to be missing Organic stats starting October 18, 2025.

Since then, sellers have been receiving "it's not you, it's us" error messages when trying to load various pages in Seller Hub.

This morning, the Seller Hub overview page is incorrectly displaying 0 views, sales and orders with an error message that says "some summary information is currently unavailable. Please refresh the page or try again later."

And the Traffic page is now completely missing the stats and graphs that are normally shown.

The eBay app is also experiencing problems, with sellers trying to access the Selling page getting an "Oops something went wrong" or "Network Error" message.

One seller in the eBay community also report problems with the listing form, saying it is missing the field to enter a description.

Desktop Glitches - no item condition or AI Description

As I am listing items this morning on my desktop computer I am unable to see the Item description field and the AI description function is also not working. On the app I cannot access my selling page.

Another reports that the Auto Price Reduction feature in the listing form is missing the field to set the frequency.

Missing Frequency Box For Auto Price Reduction

I am creating a new listing this morning, and the frequency for the price reduction box is missing on the listing form.

And the list of errors goes on:

Many Technical issues 8:23 am CST 10.22.25

  1. Cannot revise Listings

  2. Cannot bulk upload listing creation from photos (not processing due to server error)

  3. Cannot send offers (error reading items are not eligible but continue to show up in "make offers eligible" tab)

  4. Notifications not working

probably more. Just what I've found. Been experiencing issues for a couple hours now. time to refresh the duct tape and bubble gum ebay!

eBay has not made any public statement about the cascade of technical issues, providing no details about what has gone wrong or when sellers can expect the problems to be fixed - though unsurprisingly,  the eBay system status page shows all green with no current disruptions or outages.

Back in 2019, eBay and then CEO Devin Wenig faced activist investor pressure from Elliott Management calling for changes at the company, with constant site glitches and technical misexecution called out explicitly as one of the major problems with the platform.

Over 6 years later, it's shocking just how much of Elliott's "Enhancing eBay" plan still rings true today.

Wenig infamously said at eBay Open 2018 that technical glitches are unacceptable and really pissed him off.

eBay has since removed the video they had posted on YouTube of the eBay Open 2018 Q&A segment, but the interviewer asked:

There've been a lot of site glitches recently on eBay. What are you guys doing to get rid of them?

And Wenig responded:

Here's the simple answer - unacceptable, unacceptable. And we're making a lot of changes. When you make changes there are times that things happen but that's not an excuse and it's not ok with me and this summer in particular there have been a number of issues that directly impacted sellers like people not being able to see their view counts and a few other things and it's just not ok.

I'm extremely proud of a lot of things we've done, I'm not proud of that and in fact I hold my team accountable and it's not important, it's an internal matter but, we made changes to people and teams because shipping product that isn't ready is not ok. It's not ok with me and it's not ok with my team.

So the short answer is it's not like we don't get it. We are making a lot of changes and I want to make those changes, we need to make those changes, but making changes and then having to back up and fix things is not cool and I totally get it. Most of the issues from this summer have now been remedied but I was pissed off.

Mazen Rawashdeh was Chief Infrastructure and Architecture Officer at the time, but somehow managed to escape the wrath of a "pissed off" Wenig and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer, a title he still retains today despite the fact the site continues to experience far too many business impacting "glitches."

Sellers impacted by this latest technical snafu can report the problem to eBay by clicking the question mark icon in the lower right of the page in the desktop experience or shaking their phone while using the eBay app.

Stay tuned for updates and let us know in the comments below how these technical issues are impacting your eBay business!
